After reading Kasparov’s autobiographical work, with the very modest title: “Garry Kasparov on Garry Kasparov”,  (more details about this book can be found here) I have realized that, apart from being aesthetic masterpieces, Kasparov’s games have a HUGE educational value: they present great training material, especially for calculation exercise.

Starting from today, new series of posts, titled Play like Kasparov will become available on the blog. We will regularly choose a certain Kasparov games, select a couple of interesting positions and post them as tactical exercise, together with the solution.

Learn from the games of the 13th World Champion. Exercise calculation as you go through the key position of Garry’s career.
